Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CelEpi. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use CelEpi.

The service

CelEpi is an email application that brings your mailboxes into one place, organised around the people you correspond with. It is currently in beta and provided free of charge. Features may change, and the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Eligibility and your mailboxes

You must be at least 18 years old to use CelEpi. You may connect only mailboxes that you own or are authorised to access, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in and any mail credentials secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use CelEpi to break the law, to send spam or malicious content, to infringe anyone's rights, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, or in any way that breaches the terms of your email provider.

Your content

Your email and the data in your mailboxes remain yours. You grant CelEpi only the limited permission needed to access, process, cache and transmit that content in order to provide the service to you — nothing more. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services

CelEpi works with services we do not control, including Google, your email provider, and any AI provider whose key you choose to add. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Beta and availability

During beta the service may be unavailable, may change, and cached data may be lost. CelEpi is not a backup of your mail — your messages continue to live in your own Gmail or IMAP mailbox, and you should not rely on CelEpi as your only copy. We do not provide an uptime guarantee during beta.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CelEpi is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CelEpi and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using CelEpi at any time and delete your account and data from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the service or other users.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms as CelEpi develops. We will change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use CelEpi after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
